DECEMBER NEWSLETTER
1. Holiday Celebrations
As we get closer to winter break, many special celebrations will be recognized at the school. We are hosting a Festival of Lights for students to learn about cultural holidays from around the world, and a Christmas Concert on December 17. Donations for the local food bank will be accepted at the door.
2. Fundraising Update
Our book fair raised $571.24 toward new books for the library, and our Halloween Dance raised $591.12 toward general school needs.
3. Early Pick-Ups
Thank you to families who are avoiding early pick-ups during the last 100 minutes of instructional time. Each time a student is called out of class, it not only affects their own progress but also impacts the focus and momentum of the entire classroom. Our goal as a school is to minimize disruptions during class time.
4. SWO Clothing Closet
Are you in need of gently used kids’ clothing? Please contact Ms. Poulin in the office and she will assist you. Want to donate clothing? Drop it off in the office. Clothing that we don't gift to other families will be donated to Kidney Clothing as a school fundraiser.
